The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation department will interrupt the water supply in the area of Parow North today, as technicians will be carrying out maintenance on the water main in the area.
Communications officer for the department, Farouk Robertson, said the water will be cut off from 9am till 2pm.
Robertson also urged all residents in the area to ensure all taps are closed during the operation.
“What we would also like to do is send our apologies for any inconvenience caused and also at the same time thank the residents for their cooperation during this operation.”
Robertson continued by saying that it was vital for the City to maintain its water supply to the residents and by doing so, maintenance is required.
