Pretoria police killed a woman and wounded two other passengers after opening fire on a vehicle they thought was hijacked.
They later discovered they had fired on the wrong car in Mabopane this morning. It has been reported that members of the Flying Squad spotted a car identical to the one they were looking for.
The driver did not respond to their blue lights or sirens, leading to them opening fire. The Independent Complaints Directorate is investigating the incident.
