Mitchell’s Plain investigate World Cup scam

Police from the Mitchell’s Plain area have opened a fraud document against a man that scammed a group of investors.

The Cape Town man’s scheme was that some of the Mother City’s schools will be converted into accommodation for the overseas visitors coming to the city for the soccer World Cup

Police’s spokesperson Warrant Officer Ian Williams says they can not give out any information on the matter as investigation is still in its preliminary stages.
