The ANC Youth League is expected to hold a media conference on Wednesday to announce its retaliation strategy after its president and spokesperson were suspended last week.
Reports suggest that the League is planning a National road show and protests at the Climate Change Summit COP17 in Durban, to interrupt President Jacob Zuma’s campaign for re-election at the ANC conference next year.
Julius Malema and Floyd Shibamvu were suspended for five and three years each by the party’s National Disciplinary Committee.
Their legal representatives are currently preparing to appeal the suspension.
