Three people die in two separate road accidents

Two separate road accidents claimed the lives of a police member and two soldiers yesterday.

In Springs in Gauteng, a Volkswagen collided with a police car in which officers were responding to a call-out.

The driver of the police vehicle died at the scene and his two colleagues were injured.

In Stilfontein in North West, a truck collided with a Rooikat armoured car, which overturned.

Two SANDF soldiers were killed in the crash.

Two other soldiers and the truck driver sustained minor injuries.
