The Western Cape ANC Youth League called off a conference yesterday when too few delegates arrived.
Julius Malema would have addressed the gathering at the University of the Western Cape.
League secretary-general Sindiso Magaqa dismissed reports that delegates stayed away because they were divided about the suspended leadership’s fate.
The delegates that did arrive drove sleek cars and turned the cancelled event into a party.
