An 80-year-old motorist from Cape Town was honoured today for never disobeying the road.
Since Hazel Souma received her drivers licence in 1950 she has never received a traffic fine.
She said she has always been a cautious driver and made all the effort to obey the rules of the road.
Souma said she has never had to compromise on punctuality.
She added that she has been going to the same doctor, hairdresser and dentist for about 40 years.
Souma said she arrives 30 minutes before every appointment.
