Confidence Index shows that citizens are more confident

The Marketing and social insights company TNS South Africa conducted the economic confidence survey.

The latest Economic Confidence Index shows that citizen confidence has risen about half a point from October/November last year to April this year.

Senior Advisor and Head of innovation Neil Higgs says the survey was done with 2 000 adults of various demographics across the seven main metropolitan areas in South Africa.

Higgs also says that there are a number of opposing trends.
