Roy Padayachie passed away in Ethiopia

The Minister of Public Service and Administration Roy Padayachie has passed away at the age of 62.

Padayachie was on an official visit to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia at the time of death.

The Democratic Alliance has expressed shock and sadness to hear of the passing away of Minister Roy Padayachie this morning.

Padayachie had been Minister of Communication for several years before his new position.

The DA National Spokesperson Mmusi Maimane described Padayachie as an able and hard-working member of Cabinet.
