Three people die in a car accident in Kimberly

A 13-year-old boy was among the people killed when the car they were traveling in overturned on the R-64 in Kimberly on Saturday.

Netcare 911’s Chris Botha says the 13-year-old boy was in a critical condition when paramedics arrived on the scene.

Botha says he was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.

He also said the two adults passed away on the scene.
