Gauteng police have arrested a 49-year-old mother who allegedly made a hoax bomb threat phone call to OR Tambo international airport to stop her daughter from flying to George.
The woman reportedly called 1Time airlines and told them there is a bomb on one of their aircrafts.
Several flight delays were experienced by the airliner because OF the fraud.
The woman is expected to appear in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court today. It remains unclear why she did not want her daughter to fly to George.
