A Peak View High School Concerned Committee plans to oppose the school closure

A Peak View High School Concerned Committee has been established compromising of various organisations and individuals to oppose the closure of Peak View High School in Bridgetown in Athlone.

Committee member Connie September said that the reasons cited by the Education Department do not warrant to close a school.

September said that this is the direct violation of the children`s rights.

She added that the children have a right to go to a school of their choice.
