The Western Cape ANC outright rejects the Democratic Alliance’s latest public stunt to try and pin service delivery violence on the ANC.
The ANC condemns all violence and damage to public and private property, as it has been done repeatedly.
Songezile Mjongile of the ANC says the real issue in their view is that the DA is not giving poorer communities the same attention as other privileged areas like Constantia.
He adds that the communities who have taken part in protests have legitimate demands and that it shouldn’t be influenced by the negativity surrounded by recent violent protests.
