The Democratic Alliance says that the South African Police Services are continuing with their non-compliance to domestic violence.

The party says this was shown on the report to the police portfolio committee.

The DA Shadow Minister of police Dianna Kohler Barnard said that the Independent Police Investigative Directorate handed its report to the SAPS on domestic violence.

She also said that the report shows the Police Minister`s lack of political will to ensure the domestic Act is implemented properly.

She added that it is the police`s duty to ensure that women are protected.
