Part of Karl Bremer Hospital under construction

The Emergency Centre in Karl Bremer Hospital is under construction and is set to broaden the scope of the health services on offer.

 The Western Cape Department Health hopes this will improve their health care services to patients from the Northern and Tygerberg sub-districts. 

The Departmental Spokesperson Helene Rossouw said that the construction started in July and is expected to be finished in September 2013.

She added that the emergency centre will offer the normal services of a trauma centre.
