The International Organisation for Migration has indicated that it has run out of funds to assist stranded refugees.

The People Against Suffering, Oppression and Poverty`s Director Braam Hanekom said that the South African government should assist refugees that want to go back home.

He said that there are those people that voluntarily want to go back home.

Hanekom added that this is an opportunity for the Department of Home Affairs to assist people.
