The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department is kicking off the first phase of the awareness campaign for its three-year project.

A series of workshops will be taking place to ensure that the impacted communities across the city are informed about the implications of stormwater access.

Communications Officer for City of Cape Town, Farouk Robertson explained that they already started with the first workshop on Monday in Parow.

He adds that there are serious repercussions of stormwater and that this initiative will educate people on the dangers thereof.
