DA leader
Helen Zille and Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille have formally laid criminal
complaints against the ANC and affiliated organisations for what they say are
acts of intimidation.
The organisations include the ANC Youth League inCape Town and two taxi associations.
De Lille says the local Youth League threatened in a memorandum to make the city and province ungovernable if its demands are not met.
She says this comes after violent service delivery protests in the City in recent days, and clear indications that the protests are being coordinated and controlled.
