Different organisation today marched in solidarity against the Marikana massacre.
This follows the killing of more than 30 miners and many more injured after police used lethal force against the striking workers.
Organisations at the march include the Right 2 Know, National Union of Metalworkers, September national Imbizo, Economic Justice network.
September National Imbizo’s Themba Msimang said they are calling for justice and the people responsible for the killings should be taken to task.
Protestors said the role of executives in undermining fair labour processes and potentially intensify conflict must be scrutinised.
