Nkoana-Mashabane- there are no military intervention in Syria

International Relations and Cooperation Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane –gave a key address during a breakfast session on South Africa’s role in BRICS.

The session was held in Johannesburg, where the Minister highlighted the country`s benefits to job creation and the infrastructure drive.

Nkoana-Mashabane said South Africa has never supported regime change in Iraq or Libya and that is why South Africa has been part of the African Union road map.

She added that there will never be a direct military intervention in Syria
