The Hawks are investigating several cases
of fraud after students at the University of Johannesburg were caught with
fake sick notes.
Two men have been arrested in what is suspected to be a syndicate.
These men are accused of helping students to cheat their way out of writing exams on time.
A number of students also face disciplinary action after it became clear that they knew that the men issuing the sick notes used false doctors’ names and false practice numbers.
