82-year-old survives mountain fall

An 82-year-old was rescued with minor injuries after falling on Table Mountain.
 
According to Wilderness Search and Rescue’s Shaheed Osman, Rex was walking with some friends when he when he reportedly slipped and fell on Fountain Ledge on Wednesday.
 
Merle Collins, spokeswoman for SANParks said this is the fourth time someone has fallen in the mountain area. 
 
Collins said Mr Peter Rex fell about 5 meters and he had to be airlifted to Chris Barnard Hospital.
