A man to appear in court in connection with murder

A 40 year-old man from Conville near George will appear in the George Magistrate today.

The man was arrested on Sunday in connection with the murder of his 33 year-old brother.

Southern Cape Police Spokesperson Malcom Potjie said it is alleged that the two brothers were at their home in Karmelia Street, Lavalia when an argument erupted between them.

Potjie said the deceased took a pole which he pushed against his brother’s face.

He adds that the suspect allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the deceased in the scene and died on the scene.
