Khayelitsha couple arrested for possession of drugs worth 1 million rand

Police arrested a Khayelitsha couple at their home for being in possession of drugs worth a million rand. 

The police's November Filander says the suspects were apprehended after a tip off from the public.

 Filander said the police found 301 yellow capsules containing cocaine, tik, blocks of cocaine, a scale as well as cash.   

Filander adds that they arrested a 33-year-old Nigerian male and a South African female, 30, at the house.

The suspects will appear in the Khayelitsha Magistrate's Court on Monday on drug related charges.
