Learners urged to register for supplementary exams

The Independent Democrats Member of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament, Rodney Lentit says matriculants from the class of 2012 who qualify for National Senior Certificate Supplementary examinations should take advantage of the opportunity.

Lentit said a matric certificate is an individual’s ticket into the economically active.

The registration for National Senior Certificate Supplementary examinations closes on 23 January 2013 and the examinations are expected to start on Monday, 11 February 2013 and end on 19 March 2013.

“It is crucial to have good results, especially for those who cannot afford a tertiary education,’ says Mr Lentit.

He further said those who did not succeed must not despair,but  use the opportunity to better their results.
