Man survives after car veers off the road and flipped

A man in his thirties is reportedly fighting for his life after his vehicle collided into a tree at the intersection of Northway and Cavendish Road in Durban. 

It is believed that the man seemed to have lost control of the Colt Bakkie, veered off the road and flipped, before coming to rest on its roof against a tree.

Netcare 911’s Chris Botha said the man was in a very critical condition and they placed him on a ventilator on scene and then transported him through to a nearby hospital for further care.
