RTMC –Traffic Officials will be out in full force this weekend

The Road Traffic Management Corporation urged all motorists to adhere to the rules of the road as holiday makers are returning to their homes.

RTMC`s Ashref Ismail said the road death toll is expected to increase this weekend.

Ismail said the death toll between December 1, 2012 and January 2013 stands at 1300,but this number could change with the schools opening for the new year next week in other provinces.

He adds that traffic officials will be out in force full this weekend and will have no mercy to those who do not obey the rules of the road.
