“Tik WC’s the most prevalent drug” – Lamoer

The Western Cape Commissioner Arno Lamoer on Tuesday said 6,5milion-Rand worth of drugs were confiscated since the beginning of their operation Drug Watch in November last year.

Lamoer said the project was launched to encourage communities to speak out about drugs activities in the areas.

 

Lamoer said that about R4.5 million worth of tik was ceased, which makes tik the most prevalent drug in the Western Cape and is highly addictice.

“We want to urge the community to come forward with more information, and we thank them with information they sent us” Lamoer added.
