Two people injured in an accident

Two people were seriously injured in an accident in Bloemfontein this afternoon.

It is alleged that a bakkie with six passengers rolled on the N1 near the Curie Drive off ramp.

Reports indicate that the people were traveling from Mozambique to the Cape when the driver lost control of the vehicle and overturned.

Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said paramedics and the emergency services arrived at the scene and found that two people sustained serious injuries and four others miraculously escaped unharmed.

Botha  said after the patients were stabilized on scene they were transported to the Pelonomi hospital for further care.
