Two people were seriously injured in an accident on the N2 North near King Shaka Airport
It is alleged that a female had stopped in the emergency lane when a vehicle slammed into the rear of her vehicle.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Chris Botha said when paramedics arrived at the scene found that one of the vehicles had flipped onto its side after impact; both wreckages were obstructing the highway.
Botha adds that the two injured were treated on scene, before being transported to the Netcare Umhlanga hospital for further care.
