Hundreds of South African Police Service administrative staff employed under the public service act will today be marching to the SAPS provincial offices in the North West.

The march follows similar steps taken by thousands other Popcru members in the rest of country.

Popcru Spokesperson Theto Mahlakoana said they will be demanding that SAPS implement the agreement that was agreed upon in 2011.

Mahlakoana said the members also for their grades to be upgraded to level 5 and the march is expected to be peaceful like the rest of the marches that have been held in other provinces.

Popcru has ignored the warning by the SAPS management that the marches are illegal, the union has maintained that their marches are legal and all members should not be afraid to participate.
