An ID-Kit of the man has been released by the George Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.
Captain Malcolm Pojie said the suspect stabbed the victim on both her hands and after the incident he fled the scene with the motor bicycle of the victim.
George Police are searching for a man who
is wanted in connection with a robbery and sexual assault case which happened
on the 24th of December last year near Kaaimans.
An ID-Kit of the man has been released by the George Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit.
Captain Malcolm Pojie said the suspect stabbed the victim on both her hands and after the incident he fled the scene with the motor bicycle of the victim.
Potjie said the victim later that day she
had gone to report the matter to the police recovered her bicycle after she had
confronted the suspect on the street, but the suspect ran on foot.
Potjie urged the public to come forward
with any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect.
