Protest at Sir Lowry’s Pass village monitored by police

Western Cape police are
monitoring the situation on the N2 near the Sir Lowry’s Pass village after
protests action this morning.
Africa said the situation is being monitored by police and because of the
protest roads have been closed expect the N2 which is opened for traffic.
The residents
blockaded roads with burning tyres and it is not clear what their demands are.
The Western Cape
Traffic Chief Kenny Africa said the protest started in the early hours of this
morning.
