Two separate accidents leaves 33 people injured

Two separate accidents this morning has
left a total of 33 people injured.
In the first incident two minibuses
collided into each other leaving nineteen people sustaining various
injuries.
Netcare 911 Spokesperson Santi Steinmann
said two men sustained critical injuries and the Netcare helicopter was
activated to airlift one of them to hospital.
Steinmann said the remaining eighteen
people were treated on scene before they were transported to various hospitals
for further medical care.
In the other
accident fourteen people were left seriously injured when two taxis collided
head on along the Mangoshutu
Highway in Umlazi.

Spokesperson Chris Botha said all the fourteen people that were injured were
treated on scene and then transported to hospital.
The exact details
of the cause of both accidents will remain the subject of a police
investigation.
