Southern Cape police investigating Wonga loans

Southern Cape police
are currently investigating an alleged Wonga loan scam in Mossel Bay
Southern Cape Police Spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie said the scam consists of an email that is sent to people informing them that they could qualify for a loan at Wong Finance worth R60 000.
Pojie said the terms and condition consists of a loan interest of only 3.5.

Potjie said in the area the police
are investigating two cases, in one of these case a complainant had paid R24
000 into the accounts of the people that were supposed to the loan.
He urged the public to careful of
their when giving money.
