A man arrested for murder in Nkandla

North West Police this week made a breakthrough when they arrested a 32-year-old who was wanted for murder and attempted murder case in the Ekombe area in Nkandla. 

Police arrested the suspect after receiving information about the whereabouts of the suspect. 

Captain Thulani Zwane said it is alleged that a 70 year-old woman was at her home when she was shot dead by the suspect and the husband suffered serious injuries.

Zwane said a case of attempted murder and murder was opened with the police and an investigation started.
