The African Christian Democratic Party in the Western Cape says it disagrees with increasing in toll fare at the Huguenot.

ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians said it is unnecessary for the public to be subjected to further increases, as road users are already overburdened with high petrol and food prices.

Christians said they want to echo the words of the President of the Cape Chamber of Commerce that once the toll road has been paid off it should come down and as the ACDP they have a problem with the toll road rates increasing.

“When you have paid off the loan the toll roads must decrease.  Motorists are paying so much money already now the toll roads are increasing.”  said Christians.
