A man rushed to hospital after being shot twice in KwaZulu Natal

A man was shot two times in the head at a café in New Germany in KwaZulu Natal last night. 

ER24 Spokesperson Werner Vermaak said the 39-year-old man was apparently hijacked and shot; he then stumbled into the café and collapsed on the floor. 

Vermaak said paramedics were informed by bystanders on the scene and when they got to the scene they found the man lying in a pool of blood and they tried to stabilised him before rushed him to a nearby hospital.

Vermaak added that the exact cause of this incident will still be investigated by the local authorities.
