The African Christian Democratic Party in
the Western Cape said they are
disappointed that Mayor Patricia de Lille has remained silence on the taxi
violence in Cape Town .
ACDP Provincial Leader Ferlon Christians
said Mayor De Lille needs to attend to the memorandum that was handed to her
office by protestors almost two weeks ago.
“We know that the Retreat taxi violence has
been going on for some time, about eight people have lost their lives.
We are asking Mayor De Lille to sit down
with these taxi associations in the area and to resolve these outstanding
matters,” Christians added.
