Basic Education has finalised terms of references for a task team

The Department of Basic Education has finalised terms of references for a task team to investigate allegations of selling posts. 

The South African Democratic Teachers Union were alleged to have sold principal posts. 

The task team launched by the department will consist of six members including the chairperson. 

Ministerial Spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga said the task team has three months to complete the investigation.

Mhlanga said the task team names will be published once it has been gazetted and the Minister will be given a chance to view the report once it is done.
