The National Education Health and Allied Workers Union said it supports the Creative Workers Union of South Africa’s appeal to the Constitutional Court against the judgement by the Supreme Court regarding royalty payments to performers and record companies.

Pamla said we think that artist’s themselves to regard themselves as workers. They have to be more united in order to get rid of the individualist nature.

“We support the appeal against the judgment by the Supreme Court regarding royalty payments. We are urging all South Africans to come together and support local artist in just and fair manner Pamla added.
