The South African Communist Party in Gauteng has condemned the
behaviour of members of the Economic Freedom Fighters in the Gauteng
Legislature.
On Tuesday police had to forcefully remove
EFF members from the legislature for dressing inappropriately and in accordance
with the rules of the house.
SACP Provincial Spokesperson Lucian Segami
said there is nothing revolutionary in defying democratic rules of the
people.
Segami said we think it’s an attempt to
provide cover for their dismal electorate especially the working class. It's
unfortunate that they have to resort to such unacceptable behaviour of
undermining our democratic institution.
“We welcome the swift intervention by the
legislature in defending the credibility of the institution Segami added.
