Suspect linked to Kayde Williams’s murder found hanging in a cemetery

Western Cape Police are investigating the death of a 45-year-old man who was found hanged in a cemetery in Bredasdorp last night. 

Police are also investigating the possibility that he might be linked to the death of 5-year-old Kayde Williams who was discovered in bushes on Monday. 

It is believed that Williams was raped. 

Captain Andre Traut said the same man was also reported missing a few days earlier from the Bredasdorp area.

Traut added that a death inquest docket has been registered for the purpose of the investigation.
