The Democratic Nursing
Organisation of South Africa said it is glad that the MEC of Health in Gauteng
has admitted that the health services in the province is in shambles.
This as recent reports reveal
a backlog in human resource and equipment shortages which cause long queues at
Denosa Provincial Chairperson
in Gauteng Simphiwe Gada said these problems contribute a great deal to the slow
pace of patient care in facilities.
Gada said now that they have
admitted we trust and hope that they will be able to work with us because our
members that are on the ground are the ones that are experiencing these

informed point of view and not of ignorance, so we trust that the MEC will be
able to work with us moving forward since they admitted to the issues in the
