One person died after a taxi and motor vehicle collided

An accident late last night on the N12 in Johannesburg East between a taxi and a light motor vehicle left one person dead and three injured.

ER24 Spokesperson Pieter Rossouw said one person was killed in a collision and three other people were injured.

Rossouw added that ER24 paramedics treated and transported one critically injured patient to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The other patients were transported by other services.

The exact details of the cause of the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation
