municipalities to introduce initiatives that will make it easier to do business
in the Cape.
The Red Tape Reduction
interventions include reducing approval times for building plans and moving
application processes online.

Cape government Red Tape Reduction Unit has worked
with municipalities to come up with a range of projects to make it easier to do
business in the Western Cape.
Jooste said these initiatives
have halfed approval time for building plans in some municipalities and in
others it has resulted in business support services being offered to residents.
Jooste added that Minister
