No load shedding expected for now

The power
utility Eskom says, currently the power system is stable, no load shedding is
expected during the day.
However, the
system is expected to be constrained this afternoon especially around five o’clock .
Eskom’s
spokesperson, Khulu Phasiwe said, we are likely to have load shedding if at
all.
Phasiwe called
for customers, where possible, to help reduce the load by switching off things
like the swimming pool pump, electric heaters and geysers.
This helps to reduce
pressure on the power system, he added.
