Man burnt during fire at house

A man sustained burn wounds during a fire at house in Moseley Park in Pinetown.

ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing explained that ER24 paramedics, VEMA paramedics as well as other services arrived on scene and found Metro Fire extinguishing the fire.

It is understood that the man who was burnt, jumped into a pool and waited for assistance.

Paramedics arrived on the scene and assessed the man believed to be in his 40’s

He had sustained moderate injuries, he was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.

The exact cause of the fire is unknown but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
