Two dead, two injured in head-on collision in Vanderbijlpark

Two people died and two others were left with moderate injuries in a collision on Frikkie Meyer Boulevard near Noble Road in Vanderbijlpark on Saturday evening.

“ER24 paramedics as well as other services arrived on scene and found that two cars were involved in a head-on collision. A man was ejectedfrom on of the vehicles. Sadly there was nothing paramedics do for him.” ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing said.

“There were three occupants in the second vehicle. Sadly a woman who was found in the front passenger seat, had succumbed to her injuries as well.”

“The driver of the vehicle and the back passenger were assed and found in the front passenger seat.”

The reasons behind the accident are not yet know but local authorities were present to investigate.
