Police say the case of two siblings who went missing last Friday at Laingsburg petrol station still continues.
6 year old Okuhle Maqhubela and her 3 year old Mabaxole Maqhubela were found in a house in Gugulethu yesterday.
Laingsburg police spokesperson Inspector Lindikhaya Mkhontwana says the preliminary investigation from social workers reports that the children were unharmed.
The children went missing after they didn’t come back from the restrooms where they went to relieve themselves.
It is believed that the two boarded a wrong taxi back to the Eastern Cape.
Inspector Mkhontwana says they came back to Cape Town on that Friday with another taxi driver who arranged with the owner for them to be brought to their mother in Philippi.
When the children found in Gugulethu they were with the sister to the owner of taxis who allegedly stay with them for three days.
